Pavitra Mohan began with MASALA CHAI (2007–2016) — a blog that became a global reference point for South Asian art and design. What started as curiosity turned into an archive, a community, and a cultural marker, with her work appearing in Elle, Grazia, The Hindu, The Smithsonian’s blog, and Kyoorius Magazine, among others. She later went on to creatively head two design stores under the same MASALA CHAI brand, in her home city of Chennai.
